The Position of Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple freight movements from commencement to conclusion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist team by developing new and existing carrier relationships
• Negotiate pricing with carrier partners
• Manage shipments by coordinating with carrier and operations
• Develop new lanes and learn freight trends
• Expand carrier relationships
• Assist Operations with lane pricing
• Input accurate data for carriers, shippers
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, BACKGROUND, AND EDUCATION)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work at a steady pace with accuracy.
• Capability managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable learning, and working with customer management software, and technology
• One year Transportation, or Customer Service experience
•Associates Degree
